Eprex 8000 UI Epoetina Alfa

Eprex 8000 IU Epoetin Alfa is a synthetic form of Erythropoietin that acts as a key regulatory protein in the production of red blood cells (RBCs). Its administration is vital for treating severe anemia and decreasing reliance on blood transfusions. Epoetin Alfa mimics the natural kidney hormone, signaling the bone marrow to accelerate the formation of oxygen-carrying RBCs.

Key Indications: Eprex 8000 IU is highly recommended for anemia associated with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and for anemia induced by chemotherapy (in non-myeloid cancers). It is also used for patients with HIV/Zidovudine and for autologous transfusion planning before surgery. Full therapeutic response may take 2 to 6 weeks.
